Why shoud I register on Gerken's Religious Supplies?

To place an order, you will need to complete the brief registration form. This form enables us to create your own personalized shopping cart that you may use to build your order. This information will be available next time you order with us. When you add items to your cart, you will see a button that says Create new account. Click on this button and follow the instructions to create your personalized account.
We will not release information you provide to any third party. This information is used solely to identify you on our site.
What is the Shopping Cart, and how do I use it to purchase religious
supplies from Gerken's?

You can go to your shopping cart by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon on the left
column of your screen at any time. You may be asked to enter the e-mail address and
password you supplied when you initially set up your account in the registration form. You
may also be asked if you would like the server to write a cookie to your computer to
automatically log you in on your next visit. Selecting Yes allows us to identify
you next time you visit Gerken's Religious Supplies from your computer.
As you browse through our online catalog, place items in your cart by selecting the
Add to Cart button from the product or search results page. Any special promotions,
sale prices, and price breaks will be calculated in the cart, giving you an up-to-date
subtotal of your order.
To change quantities of the items in your shopping cart, simply adjust the quantity in
the QTY box and click Update. To remove an item, you can click the Remove
button or use the Empty Cart button to empty the entire shopping cart. When you are
ready to proceed to the check-out process, click the Check Out button. If you have

What's involved in the checkout process?

There are 3 steps involved in the checkout process.
Accurate completion of these steps will accelerate the processing
of your order.

Shipping and billing addresses:
We understand that sometimes you need to have your package shipped to a place other
than the billing address. So whether you're at the Vatican installing a
masterpiece of a window, or at work, we'll ship your religious suppplies where
you need them. Accurate addresses ensure prompt delivery. Please make certain
that the addresses you provide include correct information, including zip codes.
Comments: Use the space provided on in the addresses page to make any necessary
comments about your order. If you chose to pick up your order in the showroom, you will
be asked for a date when you'll be visiting us so we can be sure to have your order
ready. Click on the No Comments button if you do not need to make any comments.

Shipping Method:
You will be presented with a choice of shipping methods depending on the shipping address
specified in Step 1. Please read all of the information presented about our shipping
policies during the checkout process.

Payment:
We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard and Visa.
Additionally, you have the option to use a personal check*.
You will be asked for an e-mail address where we can contact you if we require additional
information to process your order. During checkout, you will be presented with an order total.
If you chose a shipping method other than UPS, we will e-mail you with a shipping quote as
soon as possible. If you are paying by credit card, you will also be asked for that information
in this step.
*Note: If you choose to use a personal check as your payment method, your order will
not be processed until your check has cleared.
Gerken's is a secure site. What does that mean and how can I tell whether
a site is secure or not? When you enter a secure site, you'll notice that a padlock
icon appears in the status bar of your browser (usually at the bottom of your screen). You
will also notice that the address changes from "http//" to "https//".
This states that all of the information passed between your computer and our computer will be
encrypted. Our computer will tell your computer how to code all information passed from you
to us using encryption that can only be decoded on our server. Your computer codes all
data before sending it to us via cyberspace. When the information reaches our server, it is
decoded and logged to our database for processing. Without the decoding key on our server,
it is nearly impossible to decipher the encrypted data.
